EPISODE 43 - THE DE-STIGMATIZATION & DE-MEDICALIZATION OF MENTAL HEALTH

In this session, we explore the often overlooked systemic issues surrounding mental health.  Despite years of schooling, individuals are left unequipped to manage the pressures of modern life due to a lack of education on mental well-being. We explore the interconnectedness of mental, physical, and spiritual health, highlighting how factors like diet can impact gut health and brain function, influencing mental wellness.

Drawing from history, we uncover how mental health has been misunderstood and mistreated, leading to ongoing stigma. While treatments often focus on symptoms rather than causes, we advocate for a holistic approach that addresses the underlying issues to truly support a happier, healthier and wealthier you.
