You don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong before you begin

You may be anxious. Overwhelmed. Grieving.
A relationship may feel difficult.
You may keep finding yourself in the same pattern.
Or you may simply know that something in your life needs to change.

You do not need to arrive with the answer.
We start with what is happening now.
Together, we work to understand it — and what might help next.

Different moments need different kinds of support

Mind Scholars
For learning through real situations, together.

Live online group coaching where members bring the situations, reactions and patterns they are dealing with in everyday life.

One person may be coached.
Everyone can learn.

Bring something of your own, ask a question, join the discussion or simply listen. There is no pressure to share before you are ready. That is how the current Mind Scholars format is structured.

Life happens between appointments

A difficult conversation does not wait for your next session.

Neither does anxiety. Doubt. A decision. Or the moment you notice yourself falling back into an old pattern.

That is why The Mind Manual offers more than isolated appointments.

  • Private sessions when you need depth.
  • Ongoing support when you need continuity.
  • Practical learning when you want to understand more.

REAL WORLD UNDERSTANDING

Melinda King brings together counselling, coaching, behavioural health, nutrition and functional medicine, with more than 18 years of experience working inside general practice.

She holds postgraduate qualifications through to a Master of Counselling and is also a Registered Functional Medicine Practitioner (IFM), qualified nutritionist and Certified Health and Wellness Coach. She is the owner and director of a high-volume general practice in Orange, NSW.

Her approach is practical, personal and evidence-informed: helping you understand what is happening, identify what may be getting in the way, and turn insight into changes that can work in real life.

“These weekly sessions help to hold myself more accountable in choosing to change my daily habits and wanting to participate in them - not because I felt I would be judged or criticised (Melinda is exceptionally good at showing compassion for the place you're at...even from a computer screen), but because they are such simple practices and thoughts I can use to challenge my thinking patterns, no matter how 'busy' I am.

With this particular style of learning about yourself and others, Melinda is excellent at tailoring practices specific to your circumstances and delivering methods for change in a way that can really resonate with your lifestyle at that moment in time. It has been a massive catalyst for the changes I have made in my life, particularly once I allowed myself to trust in the process.
